The Accounting and Finance Certification Exam is designed to assess advanced knowledge of topics related to the corporate renewal profession in the U.S. and is a requirement for those seeking the CTP or CTA designation. The exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions and may be completed at your convenience. You must earn a score of 70% or better to pass, and unanswered questions are graded as incorrect. The Accounting and Finance Exam has a 2 1/2 hour time limit (150 minutes). Exams are closed-book; no notes or other resources are allowed. A calculator and scratch paper are allowed. Your session will be monitored by a live proctor in a secure online environment. Instructions to schedule your exam appointment will be provided upon completion of your purchase.

Candidates who have earned the CIRA designation, offered by the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), may claim exemption from taking the Accounting and Finance exam. Please indicate your CIRA designation on your CTA or CTP application form and upload documentation to support your credential is in good standing.
